Here is Greyface. He is on ebay.
Started out as a commission for someone who cancelled, and I was going to make a last-minute Halloween costume out of it but I ran out of time and then it poured down raining all night anyway. ::shrug.:: So here is this.
Everyone on the planet is selling suits right now BUT OH WELL that just means you get your pick of like ten thousand awesome things in time for MFF.

Oh, and Yarwick is finished, too.

It's a new month and time for new releases. Which ones (if any) are you getting this month?
(See this entry for ISBN's)
Also, the maximum number of selections you can have for a question in a poll is 15, and this one has 16. The same question is asked twice because I couldn't fit all of the options in one question. Booo :/

I decided to go ahead and try to get in the game and start an Etsy store. I want to sell cute things I make and I talk about it - but I never do it! So here is my first attempt. Hopefully this will encourage/inspire more projects out of me.
Hope everybody had a good halloween. Mine was a bit stressful, as I was organizing the company halloween party (my own idea -blah!). But now that its over, I feel good about it. I also saw Joe's band play at Tir na Nog on Thursday and saw Goodbye, Titan on Saturday. So it was a relaxing weekend (minus being on call) and had good music. I'll try to upload pictures of my costume in the coming days.

I'm creeped out by how much I'm attracted to Rachel when she's dressed up as Joe.
X.X good greif Halloween. This is how you choose to begin?

You don't understand. I HAD TO BUY IT. $12?!
I just spent the last two hours making excel spreadsheets to calculate paypal plus ebay / etsy fees (thank you taren for enabling me) as they apply to the categories and items I tend to list in often. Obviously, your results may vary. I got about what I expected to see (and a few surprises, because normally I have no head for this kind of shit), which was:
-Fees take up nearly 70% of a gross sale of less than $5. Yikes.
-This drops drastically to about 20% of a $10-$20 sale.
-After this, it slowly creeps down to about 10% of a $100 sale.
-Fees more or less bottom out at roughly 7% for sales over $200, all the way up into the thousands.
-Padding the cost of shipping "and handling" is largely pointless unless your gross sale is under $15.
-Accepting multiple payment installments for purchases over $100 (ebay fees aside) really does not hurt you. In most combinations the difference is only a dollar or two. There's no reason (in this context) not to accept payments, or to demand more for accepting payments. Other than the potential annoyance of keeping up with 20+ payments of $50 I guess lol.
Obviously, your results will vary, which is why I made my own.
Oh, and I didn't realise you can opt to cover the fees as a customer now, too.
Anyway that's enough of that. Now I finish making dog heads.

Its finally time! I am now accepting preorders for Red String Volume 5. This book is 224 pages and contains chapters twenty-seven through thirty-three. Bonus material: A foreword by Jennie Breeden of The Devils Panties, character confession booths, inner monologue theater, notes, and eight bonus comic pages extending a scene from chapter thirty-three.

I am offering Deluxe Editions that are signed, sketched, and come with a bonus bookmark. I am also offering the regular unsigned version of the book for those who dont want the extra frills. I need to get 300 preorders in order to print the book. Dont worry, though! I will have more books available after preorders are done. Preorders just helps me pay for the printing costs of the books. Tentative release date: mid-December 2009.
