I was working on my Selphie cosplay for Anime Weekend Atlanta. THAT was fun. Ben and I drove down to Wellington, Florida to pick up my longtime internet friend, Kenny, and then we drove back up I-95 to meet up with CJ and the Bonzai Anime group in St. Augustine. Once we got that group together, we drove up to Atlanta. Made it there three hours after we had planned. D: And I rushed over to the airport to pick up my other longtime internet friend, Jenn, and her boyfriend, Ryan. The weekend was a blast with tons of speed bumps. : / Which you can find a full detail account of it on my xanga, because that's the journal that all my internet buddies read. Lol Sorry. xD! It's going to be posted in parts, so right now, only the first part is up. D: But it will all be posted within a week or two. xD!

In any case, we got home and Ben got sick. D: He worked two days last week. :/ Heh, and this past weekend, Ben and I went back up to Georgia to visit his brother in Colombus. It was fun.

Now, we're back home and everything has settled down. o_o And I finally got around to updating Daylodge and fixing the galleries on BonzaiAnime. :O So go there and look at those pictures if you want to see the wonderful time we had at AWA. xD!

Well, let's get started. Ben proposed to me on the 2nd of this month and we've set a date in December of 2007. :D! I've just recently picked out my dress [ Style # 1797 if it doesn't show, with Blue Jay instead of pink] and my Bridesmaid's dresses [Style # 6716 if it doesn't show, with various shades of blue for each dress]. I think they're beautiful. :D Still don't know the entire guest list, the food, where it'll be held, any of that jazz, but we're working on it. We picked out Japan as our honeymoon destination for two weeks. That in itself is going to be awesome. :D Can't wait.

But why am I updating?! DRAMACON! I updated Daylodge. xD 29 new members, two new links, a new menu image and a couple new images in the image gallery. Fun stuff. Took forever and a day. But that's it for now.

I'm gonna go do some more wedding stuff hunting and whatnot. :D

So I spent the last hour updating DAYLODGE. :D I won't spoil it for you, but there are a LOT of fans that have been added and even a new coloring of a chapter page donated by Jay Carl. :D!!!!!!!! And two banners were also donated, they're cute. ^0^! So go look at it! LOL

As of yet, I am buying a cell phone today, to keep in touch with everyone from work and also my family, so the computer will take a little longer. :/ Family first! xD! Then work and then fun. :o But I see everything here online has been going well. :D That's good! I enjoyed coming back and reading all the new posts on the Dramacon community and even Svet posted. Rawk. Lol There are more memembers on the MySpace and Xanga rings also, which is even cooler. xD

Ah, okay, I talk about Dramacon too much. >_>; Oh well. xD I've been having fun since I moved back in with my mother... She's wised up.. a little. She's still "in love" with the man who beat the crap out of her and pulled out a HUGE chunk of her hair, but he won't come around the house if I'm there. lmao I'll have Buddy's gun ready for him if he decides to step foot in our yard. :D 'Cause frankly, he's not worth shit. u_u

On a lighter note, things are well between my father and I. He was just cranky and I don't know when to shut up. Lol Anyway, I'll be back online after the first of the year. :D!

So! After I tried to sign on to LiveJournal yesterday and it wouldn't let me-- ;_; I am now able to sign on RIGHT NOW before I leave to work and miss a RJA show because there's a managers meeting that I can't miss. ;_;

So.. Dramacon Fanlisting. Yeah, that's what this entry is about, I swear. Lol A new update, of course. But it's a special update... because it's totally awesome like that! xD Suspense? Just a little. Anyway, TheFanlistings.org finally emailed me the other day about my application for the 'approved' fanlisting slot on their page. Well! Let's back track a little (for those of you who've already heard about the Kel guy from AFL.org, skip down to 'DAYLODGE!!!!!!!!!!!' below this somewhere) and begin with my first request for DAYLODGE to be on a fanlisting.

AnimeFanlistings.org will not accept any manga that is not originally Japanese. They are purists and I strongly dislike them for it. They won't even accept Korean stuff. I mean, COME ON. e_e I found this out by email, of course, when my application finally got a reply. The person who's in charge of updating the manga series section of AFL.org actually accepted the application, but came back with a second email saying "I looked up Dramacon. Unfortunately, it isn’t manga – the creator was born in Russia and lives in Canada. You will have to look for this series and apply in the Comics section of our sister network, TFL (http://www.thefanlistings.org). Cheers." o_O Do you know how angry I was when I read that? LMFAO You would not believe. I unleashed Hell's fury on whoever I was talking to.. I think it might have been Josh? ^^;;;;

So... as directed, I sent in an application for TFL.org and got a reply about two or three weeks later, which was earlier this week. ...I came close out literally falling out of my chair when I read the email from Holly. It goes as follows: "Dramacon appears to be a Manga, which belongs over at
animefanlistings.org. If the subject is not already listed there, please reapply in the correct category." >_/!!!!!

And I've already found something to rant about... but I will blow it off. For now. Because it's not worth it. But it is worth mentioning that I would rant about it if I felt like it. Because it managed to get under my skin when I read it. And now. I just couldn't give a rats ass. LMAO

Anyway, better things in life. I don't have work today. :D Awesomeness.

I'm going to download Limewire and download a couple AMVs I've heard so much about. Because I can't find them on animemusicvideos.com which sucks. :/

I was thinking about making a newsletter for the fanlisting, since it's made it past it's one month mark. I could do a monthly newsletter and all the fans who are listed know about what's been going on with the fanlisting if they aren't keeping up with it. And we could have little things here and there were I'd put a fan "in the spotlight" and stuff. Wouldn't that be entertaining?

I'm not sure though, and there are tons of people who are on the fanlisting. So I made an update today letting everyone who goes to the page know my idea. I left a link to send them here to leave me a comment with their opinions on it. :/ So I guess I'll just find out all the LJ people and the fans who are already obsessed with checking out the fanlisting. xD

I guess I will have to go through all those emails to get people's email addresses/ ;_; That's like, eighty people. Ah well, Dramacon's worth it. ^_~ Thank you, Svet.

My brain.. feels like it's going to explode. And I shouldn't have touched the computer today, but I had to get the new layout for Daylodge up because I didn't do it last night. Yes, it's Christie. Yes, it's from Dramacon volume one. Yes, it was colored in by Jay Carl and done wonderfully I might add. Especially since Jay even matched up the colors to the ones I used on the fanlisting before when it was mostly black and white. ^0^ So everyone go check out Jay's site, Rick's Place, and look at all the pretty icons for AIM and LiveJournal. And make sure you stop by Daylodge to see the prettiness that it is now.

Hours later, I finally post this. o_o; It says 8:31... but THAT is a lie my friends. XD It is really 12:23 right now. Oh well. :D

I had my VERY FIRST horse ride today. Well, I've been on a horse before, plenty of times, but today I did it all on my own, no one guiding me or anything. And I even got her to gallop--twice! XD Oh my god, it was so much fun, but my back hurts a little. :/ Won't stop me from doing it again, though. HAHA!

So I went and checked my mail for the fanlisting, right? This morning, I added five new fans. :O! Well... I have more to add, but I'm just to tired right now, so I'll add them tomorrow when I get off work at SIX O'CLOCK instead of 9:45 like the past couple of nights. ;_; They are killing me, but it's because I'm trying to do my best. 'Cause I got the promotion, but only half-way. You see, there's this other girl, Crystal, who's worked there longer than I have. So she put in for it too... So she and I have to battle it out over the holiday season in order to see who'll get the title of Third-Key officially. :/ So I have to give 200% instead of 150% at work now. It's rough, but I've caught on pretty quickly to what I need to do. It's the customers that are getting to me, but more about that stupid chick later. e_E!!!!!

Umm... I stole this from a new befriended person I added to my friends list because they had me on theirs... But yeah, go check it out. xD It's funny.

So I went to their show tonight. The last show they had was in Orlando on the 30th of September. So the crowd that came up to see them tonight was MASSIVE. And awesome at that.
